Our Bespoke service

Here at Shop 4 Handles, as a long established business, we are blessed to have been involve in many varied projects over the years.

Some of these projects required solutions that could not be found on the shelf, nor from any of our extensive wholesale suppliers, however this is not an issue for us as we can have many different items manufactured from scratch to create a range that is only limited by your imagination!

We can have most of our internal doors adapted to non-stock sizes, and we do this quite regularly, as well as creating completely bespoke designs if required – we will always work with you to create the most cost effective solution to your needs without compromising the design intent.

 

Through our affiliated Darwins brand we have produced many bespoke ironmongery pieces, from lever handles and mortice knobs, through to pull handles, flush handles and locks and latches.

We can design items completely from scratch, or adapt existing designs into different sizes or finishes.

 

We work with some excellent UK based finishers who can recreate many different colours and finishes on items, as well as UK engineering workshops and metalworkers when we are creating from scratch.

Our experience in the industry is one of our main strengths and we have often made items previously so can ensure that relevant features of any design have been considered and will be appropriate.

The bespoke service is normally best suited to full projects,m as the costs of configuring machines is more easily absorbed on larger quantities, however we have produced many “one-offs” too so please do get in touch and we can help find a solution for you.
