I am a housebuilder/carpenter/interior designer etc, can I get a trade account?

Shop4handles do provide trade accounts to repeat customers. If you contact us via the 'contact us' form, or drop us an email with your company details and a little bit about yourselves, we can arrange to set up an account for you. Account customers receive special discount offers, can have special prices set up for products purchased frequently, and can have sample boards made of our products at our discretion. If you would like to investigate opening an account, please contact one of our representatives today.
If you own and operate your own website and can link to us you may be able to get a further discount by way of a thank you. As always, contact customer support to discuss your requirements.

How do I know which size lock or latch I need to go with my handles?

When replacing existing locks or latches, measure the depth of the case from the faceplate to the back of the lock. In most cases this will be either 76mm (3") or 64mm (2.5"). On new doors, try to choose the depth that will position your handles near the middle of the door 'stile'. Generally, the hole through which the spindle passes is around half an inch (12.5mm) from the rear of the lock/latch case.
Another point worth considering is if the door is a fire door, as if it is there is a high probabilty that the stop around the door is larger and will necessitate a larger (76mm) latch.

Can I see a sample of the handle I wish to buy?

If you wish to see a sample of the handle you wish to buy, just order a set as normal and if you need to return that set, shop4handles can give you credit against another purchase. Alternatively, please contact our sales team for assistance. For larger orders, several samples can be sent by prior arrangement, and for repeat customers, a showboard featuring a selection of shop4handles hardware can be provided. A discount is also available for those customers who display a showboard prominently in public, or in their showrooms/shops.

How long should my order take?

Generally, an order is processed the same day as it is placed (during normal working hours). We aim to despatch all orders within 48 hours of being received. Our courier service delivers on a next days service. If you have special delivery requirements for your order, please contact customer support before placing your order.

I have seen a handle elsewhere, can you source it?

If you have full details of a handle you are looking for, by all means send the details to us and we will try and source it for you. Email a picture or product code, along with the quantity you require to and one of our staff will have a look for you.
